Patrick I'm not sure what Trump means when he says things but I know what he does. His detractors try to split hairs or take a contrary position to his actions. This was done by the deep state his first term. I have a different take on Trump than the legacy media promotes. Here are some examples, people aren't being kidnapped off of the streets, criminals are being arrested; obliterated means something was destroyed as in something won't work and will take substantial effort to repair; king of ice breakers means he's doing a deal with Finland on ice breakers, if he was buying Russian ice breakers he would have said something similar; he said he would move the US embassy from Tel aviv to Jerusalem and he did; he said he would fix the American economy and he is, quibble about whether it's completely fixed if you want; to put it simply Trump has a plan and he's not forthcoming about it because he knows the deep state would thwart him if it has advance notice. Just look at the lawfare he has been subjected to, the non stop smearing of his reputation, the continual diminishing of his achievements like the Abraham Accords, he got a free airplane for his country, he has reduced inflation, reframed the economy in months, stopped the open border in days, and I could go on. Trump will have a better relationship with Russia and China, why? Because he wants peace and he wants to compete economically not militarily. He will maintain a strong military to curb bad actors just as every country should, not a lot of countries are willing to hit a neighbour who will hit back. Russia showed this in Ukraine. The CIA made a mistake underestimating Russia and other countries that would continue to do business with them. Trump has powerful enemies. Why? Because he wants a better life for everyone especially the working man because the workers are the core of every country. Politicians pushing socialism and open borders attack that core. Will Trump do everything right? I hope so but probably not. However I would rather work with someone trying to build a better house than the guy trying to tear it down. I think many people who support Trump and his efforts think this way. I enjoy your reports and your courage.
