Is there a system to remove the land mines if the battle moves on or the war ends? The injuries and deaths landmines cause to civilians years on is appalling and creates poverty to upcoming generations which means the war effects prolong and sometimes this causes a return of the conditions that brought about the original war and war makers. …… Patrick you almost sound in the article that you promoting landmines! :(

Anti tank mines need a ton of force to detonate. A human stepping on one is not going to trigger it.

DIY vehicle… for a proper battlefield vehicle it has too many weaknesses:

Short range. Noisy. Small arms fire can reach the mines and explode them. Mortars can explode it or cut the cable. Deployed mines are visible and not buried…

Solution? Mines placed in belly of vehicle and ‘poop’ it out… plus some dirt to cover.

Jeez, Patrick. One mine has a center firing mechanism. Be careful out there.

I could use one of these "Tanks" in the neighborhood.

Is there a way to find these mines after the war ends?

Very cool! Seems there’s a whole bunch of independent small centers developing these things. Innovation from the bottom, not the top.
