There is no evidence the helicopter had a crew at all! It could very well have been an unmanned drone, and there were Russians on board the aircraft which was targeted.

Outrageous conduct by the Ukrainians. They say they want peace but then attack Russian cities. I would expect the fighting to go on at the battle fronts before negotiations begin but I would also expect these sort of attacks to be stopped. Every day that goes by in this war results in a worse ending for Ukrainians. The war should have been stopped in Dec 2021 before it started, should have been stopped in negotiations in Apr 2022, and should have been stopped long ago to stop the killing and the destruction of towns and villages. The US could have stopped the war at any time by stopping arms shipments. This should have been a year ago when anyone with any sense knew that Ukraine would surely lose this war. But no - they proceeded with the fight; to the last brave Ukrainian Soldier it seems.
And the war should end for the safety of press like yourself and your co-workers. You are doing very valuable and noble work in Ukraine and Russia Mr Lancaster. Make sure you take care of yourself. Both physically and mentally. If it become too much no one will object to you stepping away for a bit or permentally. You, your co-workers, and the Soldiers on both sides deserve to be safely back home with their families.
Most Americans do not support the attack on civilians!!! Nor do the majority of Americans support the Nazi Ukraine!!!!
